Trader Joe's Must Haves!

Trader Joe's and I have a love-hate relationship here in 2020. I love the store, the products, the staff, the branding...etc... but what I hate... is the fact that I can never leave out without trying something new!
Whenever I hear about a new product at Trader Joe's on my social media feeds, I make a mental note to try it when I go the next time.
But right now, I want to share with you guys my Top 10 Vegan Food Products I recommend for your plant based transition or to switch up some meals!
Let's get started.
1. Trader Joe's Dark Chocolate Sunflower Seed Butter Cups from heaven on high.
I had only tried a sample Sunflower Seed Butter at a store and loved the taste of it. Rich, nutty, woody flavor. I was in the check out line at Trader Joe's and this gift was sitting there... So, I bought two packs: one to eat at room temperature and the other to put in the freezer
The room temperature won. But you could always put the one from the freezer in some ice cream... Let me know what you think about it!
2. Trader Joe's Speculoos Cookie Butter made with addiction and self-care.
Let me just be clear... one spoon of this is enough. Take the jar and hide it from yourself. Any more... and your jar will be empty.
Throw this on some apples and strawberries... You'll be so happy and full. Or if you're trying to impress a party crowd, make some nice brownies and put this on top!
3. Trader Joe's Three Layer Hummus
My go-to hummus hands down. Any party or event, I'm bringing this.
The three flavors are perfect with any chip. And the texture is perfect.
Not much to say but don't take all my hummus!
4. Trader Joe's Vegan Kale, Cashew and Basil Pesto.
I. Love. Pesto. And pasta!
A great alternative from regular pesto made with milk products. Get your hands on this and add it to your pantry.
Great with tempeh!
5. Trader Joe's ChickenLESS Crispy Tenders made with goodness and mercy.
If you know the proper oil to pre breaded food ratio, you can not mess this up!
Sauce Options: EVERYTHING. I've eaten these babies with Chipotle Mayo, Ketchup, Bar B Que Sauce... and fries or kale chips!
I'm not here to argue about soy and all of that, I'm here to tell you, THIS IS GOOD and IT'S ON MY LIST!
6. Trader Joe's ChickenLESS Mandarin Orange Morsels of desire.
Now. Here's a thing I discovered and I'm glad Trader Joe's doesn't have them pre-coated with the sauce.
BUY or MAKE homemade sauces to coat your Morsels! The texture is so good y'all. You'll love it.
I love it.
7. Trader Joe's Hi-Protein Veggie Burger of life.
These things sell out so fast. If you're into fitness and macronutrients and just making sure you're getting protein in your plant-based diet... BUY ALL OF THESE.
The texture isn't like your meaty Beyond Burger or Impossible, but it's a crispy and made from Pea Protein. Just don't overcook it.
8. Trader Joe's BeefLess Ground Beef made with joy.
Chili. Tacos. Meatballs. Breakfast Scrambles. Meatloaf. Just giving you options for this product.
One thing I love about it is although it has a preseason flavor, you can add your own spices to it and make it what you want. The texture in the photo is the same as what you get when you cook it yourself.
LOW. HEAT. It cooks fast.
9. Trader Joe's Raw Shelled Hemp Seed
Now you're probably like, Justin I was following you until now... Hemp Seeds?
YES! You need these. You want these. And I literally will take a teaspoon of these and eat them.
Add these to your salads or even in breakfast dishes (eggs, avocado toast, etc...). Hemp Seeds are another great way to get your protein in!
10. Trader Joe's Organic Pea Protein Powder
Now we can talk about SOY. If you're wanting an alternative or you're paranoid about SOY, these are great. I can't promise you the flavor is amazing, but I do say these work well in a smoothie!
Price is cheap and they're always stocked!
So there are my top 10 Trader Joe's Products. Come back cause I have to try their new Plant-Based Burgers and the Cheese Dip!
